Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for structural analysis support of existing and developing aircraft designs, including mechanisms and subsystems, consisting of landing gear, doors, harnesses, tubes, and brackets. Will work closely with Design counterparts, Production floor, and occasionally with suppliers to resolve issues and to verify components meet structural requirements. Will develop repair procedures, document results, and collaborate with a variety of teams. Candidate will make use of classical hand analysis, computer-aided analysis routines, and finite element tools such as Nastran, Patran, and Abaqus. It is preferred that candidate have a secret clearance as it is foreseeable that a need to support a development program may arise. BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS Experience Required: Strong Structural and Systems Stress Analysis experience Experience with Metallics is required Experience with Composites preferred Experience with finite element tools such as but not limited to: Nastran, Patran, and Abaqus
