In a nutshell, we conduct inhouse lab testing on tissue samples, primarily cancer biopsies, to provide Oncologists better intel on how to improve their patient''s outcomes.The majority of the Strategic Ops team is based out of our Headquarters in Irving, Texas, but you will be interacting with other team members in Eastern and Mountain time zones. This position involves deploying new solutions and maintenance of existing applications that are supported by the development team. Build digital solutions with expert server-side coding skills. Perform analysis of all received documentation and architectural diagrams. Participate in requirement, design, estimation, and configuration working sessions.Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, or another technical field. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing software applications using PHP. Strong experience with PHP Scripting and PHP Web development. Strong experience with SQL/ RDBMS, database design, writing and tuning queries. Experience with API development and testing, both client and server side. Experience with test-driven development and structured unit testing approaches. Working knowledge various front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and popular JS frameworks (JQuery, React, Angular), NodeJS. Experience with Linux/UNIX systems.Preferred Qualifications: This is primarily a PHP position, but experience with Enterprise Java technologies will be considered with interest. Experience writing scripts using Python, Unix Shell (bash), or perl. Experience with configuring and operating web servers (apache, nginx). Working knowledge of serverless approaches, nosql. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts. Experience with structured PHP approaches and frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, composer, doctrine).Core Skills & Competencies: Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. Ability to work in a complex and matrix team environment; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Proven abilities in leading complex problem management and process analysis. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines. Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis and root cause analysis.
