The Director of Market Operations serves as the key liaison between providers (e.g., nephrologists, primary care physicians) and US Renal Care''s value-based care programs deployed for provider''s patients. This position will work effectively across all key internal and external stakeholders and thrive in an ambiguous fast paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned. Develop a deep understanding of key requirements of value-based care programs within USRC. Collaborate with provider group physicians and their staff to develop and implement operational and clinical process improvements to help providers achieve higher performance in value-based care programs. Own the financial, clinical, and quality performance of the market. Manage team of market associates. Identify, develop, and manage key performance metrics to measure performance of providers related to their value-based contracts. Identify improvement opportunities based on key performance indicators and develop action plans. Implement these action plans in partnership with the provider and USRC value-based care team. Develop and provide training and support to provider staffs to assist them in understanding performance metrics and implement operational and clinical improvements. Promote collaboration across provider groups to enable sharing of best practices and performance improvement opportunities. Resolve various system, process or resource issues to address provider feedback and concerns. Work in a matrixed organizational structure to collaborate across various internal and external teams to achieve success in value-based care programs. Hold monthly/quarterly governing body meetings with physician practices to update leadership on performance of value-based care programs. Cultivate and establish relationships with new provider groups in designated market area. Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort; perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements include: Bachelor''s degree required. Five (5) plus years of experience working with physician practices, value-based contracting, or process and performance improvement experience. Experience managing P&L or regional performance preferred. Experience working at a dialysis clinic or a nephrology physician practice desired. Experience working with value-based care programs such as Medicare Shared Savings or Independent Physician Associations with risk bearing contracts strongly preferred. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook); proficiency in required USRC applications within 90 days of hire.
