DescriptionJOB TITLE: Village Grounds Attendant DIVISION: Village OperationsREPORTS TO: Village Grounds Supervisor and Village Operations ManagerLOCATION: VillageCLASSIFICATION: Seasonal/HourlyDEPARTMENT: Village Operations PURPOSE OF POSITION: Maintain a safe and guest-friendly environment in parking lots and village areas; maintain safe and efficient loading zones; remove snow and ice from walkways and resort common areas; perform guest surveys; perform all other aspects and daily operations of the Village Grounds Department that may be assigned. Provide assistance and helpful guidance to guests in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner.SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have sufficient communication skills to answer guest questions and the physical ability necessary to complete all other Village Grounds duties and responsibilities including cleaningMust have the desire and ability to tolerate and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods including cold temperatures, inclement weather, and moving between indoor and outdoor environmentsMust be able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for extended periodsThe ability to meet and/or exceed satisfactory performance levels in all duties as assigned JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Snow removal with snow shovels and power-assisted snow removal equipmentConstant and continuous collection of trash and debris, sweeping, etc.Be open to willingly accept other grounds maintenance duties and responsibilities within the municate pleasantly and respectfully with fellow employees and guestsAssist guests with parking directions and with their equipment in loading zones. Possess and implement a thorough knowledge of appropriate proceduresBe tactful and diplomatic when interacting with guestsAdhere to all company policies and proceduresRequirements
