Benefits Enrollment Specialist

A large and well established construction company in the Asheville area is looking for a Benefits Administrator to join their team. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the group benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, FMLA, and voluntary plans. The candidate will coordinate benefit programs and assist in the administration of benefits to all shareowners. Primary Responsibilities Include:• Enter enrollment/termination information into all benefit systems.• Maintain deductions in payroll system.• Assist employees with changes or questions regarding insurance benefits.• Monthly reconciliation of insurance billing.• Submit out-of-network claims on behalf of employees as needed.• Handle weekly short-term disability claims, checks, and reports. • Organize annual open-enrollment and Guaranteed Increase in Benefits offers.• Complete annual 1095 reporting.• Maintain files and records. • Promote a culture of approachability and support for all shareowners.• Support the HR team in other related functions as needed.• Must have strong knowledge of HR processes and benefits information.• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred, but not required Schedule is Monday to Friday on 1st Shift/Day time hours Pay is $18hr+ DOEIf this job sounds like something you''d love to do to and you want to impact the community, we want to hear from you.
