Shelter Security OfficerPay: $20.00 per hour Full Time & Part Time positionsLocation: Denver Securitas is currently seeking qualified candidates to provide security, policy enforcement and general guidance for several technical facilities throughout Denver.Security experience is preferred for this role. However, if you have retail, food service or a hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role. We will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.JOB DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to stand and be on feet for long periods of timeProvide property surveillance conducting indoor and outdoor walking patrolsProvide crowd control; calmly address situations of chaos and disruptionMust have a H.S. Diploma or GEDMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to pass a background and drug screeningIn addition to Company minimum requirements, qualified candidates must meet the following:Prior customer service experience dealing with the public.Must be proficient in knowledge of technology and be able to operate a computer.Ability to manage conflict and deescalate situations as needed.Ability to enforce rules in a calm and considerate manner.Actively demonstrate compassion and patience when dealing with difficult circumstances.Available for Swing and Grave shifts.
