An exciting leadership opportunity is now available for a Senior Nurse Director Emergency with a rapidly growing, newly renovated Department Level II Trauma Center located in Northern Pennsylvania, on the border of Southern New York. The Senior Director Emergency Services RN will oversee two Emergency Departments at neighboring hospitals. The Emergency Department Senior Director will report directly to and work collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Officer to improve patient care and departmental nursing practices. The individual in this role will oversee the Emergency Departments with the assistance of multiple Nurse Managers, ED Charge and Nursing staff, and a group of strong resident physicians. The Emergency Department has seen a steady increase year over year in admissions and is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative nurse leader prepared with a minimum of a Bachelor''s degree and Level II Trauma experience.The Emergency Department Senior Nurse Director will be joining a well-regarded tertiary care center and renowned local teaching hospital.
