As the owner of the Sensor Coverage & Modeling Development within the STELLANTIS ecosystem, you will develop and maintain expertise needed for STELLANTIS to manage ADAS/AD features, you will be responsible for defining the functional requirements related to Sensor Coverage & Modeling Development. We are looking for a self-starter with good engineering judgment, a solid background in AD/ADAS systems, and the curiosity/motivation to learn as the technology progresses. The main job responsibilities will be:Define requirements for the sourcing/internal development of simulation models of component performance at an appropriate level of fidelity for internal customer use cases (e.g. MIL, SIL, HIL)Define requirements for development of simulation models of components performance at an appropriate level of fidelity for internal customer use cases, and achievement of Vehicle/Motion Control development through MIL, SIL, HIL and functional PoC phasesMaintain updated sensor coverage map for FCA sensor configurations based on sensor simulation data and update as real world data is collectedConducting impact analysis and develop requirements for expansion of the existing design to enable increasingly advanced functionality as environmental perception improvesAssist with setting architectural design direction enabling scalability and optimization of smart sensing vs. satellite sensing/object level data vs. data in raw formsLeverage existing knowledge of physical-mathematical-statistical models to effectively generate requirements detailing how the design can modify the final environmental perception model based upon the dynamic states of the sensors -- i.e. sensor n is experiencing degraded performance, decompose system function or weigh control decisions more upon sensor
