DescriptionJOB TITLE: Massage Therapist DIVISION: SpaREPORTS TO: Director of Lodging LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Spa / The InnCLASSIFICATION: Full or Part Time/Seasonal/Commission and TipsPURPOSE OF POSITION: The Massage Therapist possesses strong communication skills and a willingness to work with a high-expectation clientele to create a massage experience that addresses their concerns and fits their needs.SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Licensed massage therapist, qualified to work in UtahExperience in providing Swedish, sports, and deep-tissue massageExperience in providing a variety of body treatments, including wraps, scrubs, etc.Professional attitude and positive demeanorDependable, self-motivated, and punctualStrong communication skillsStrong knowledge of massage technique and an ability to adapt to the needs of the clientPerform multiple high-quality, consistent, massages and body treatments per dayAbility to stand for up to 8 hours each dayJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for being on-site and ready to receive clientsEnsuring therapy room is in working orderBeing up to 15 minutes early to greet clients and discuss their needsBasic cleaning and reset of treatment room after useSell retail products to clientsEnd-of-day chores, including restocking of lotions, oils, and treatment reagents and laundering linens and table shroudsResponsible for reading and adhering to scheduling policies and proceduresComes with ski and ride pass to Solitude plus discounts at the resort!Requirements
