Job Description

Role Purpose: The MDM architect plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the Sales and Marketing technology strategy and processes as it pertains to the Customer Information. The MDM architect partners with business and technology groups to ensure alignment of technology solutions with the companys strategic objectives. More specifically the MDM architect will provide functional and technical leadership in the design and development of a MDM platform focused on Customer Information Management (CIM). Key Responsibilities: Provides cross-product/cross-technology expertise to capability team, evaluates solution design and is especially consulted during release planning (e.g., standards for application design, etc.) Maintains a holistic view of the organizations strategy, processes, information and technology assets Helps business leaders clarify their objectives and expectations for technological innovation efforts Introduces and accelerates new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation Brings a customer experience lens to IT strategy Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions Assesses the current IT environment and develops a future state IT architecture Supports the design and modeling of tactical architectures for the delivery, development, and support of projects Supports the design and management of reference architectures Partners with other solution architects to provide scalable and adaptable architectural solutions Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent technology framework is applied across the company Promotes the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve information flows Other related work as directed by their Manager Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education Information / Data architect role requirements: Knowledge of architectural design frameworks, integration frameworks and patterns to provide strategic guidance with respect to MDM best practices Customer and or Product Data Management experience required Master Data Management (MDM) expertise / Profisee preferred Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps and to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions Day-to-day technical management of MDM Technical , Responsible for ensuring high-quality design of dimensional models and data mapping Provide detailed documentation, end user training and knowledge-transfer services Establish information management business and functional requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics Drives the project toward exceeding expectations on the timely completion of milestones by resolving issues throughout the development lifecycle Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and systems engineering Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking and financial analysis Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups; and exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or related engineering / technical field. Agile experience required Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
