An esteemed acute care hospital located in the Mid-Ohio Valley is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Orthopedic Neuro Services to join their accredited healthcare system.For over the last century, this acute care medical has remained a regional leading provider of a variety of award-winning healthcare services to the surrounding communities. With more than 250-beds today, this hospital is equipped to offer a wide-range of medical and surgical specialties including behavioral health, oncology, emergency and critical care, perioperative services, maternity, pediatrics, neurology, pain management, radiology, rehabilitation, cardiac and vascular care, women''s and children''s services, and much more.Reporting to the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager will lead the daily operations of the unit that cares for a mix of Orthopedic, Neuro, and Medical Surgical patients. The Nurse Manager will lead a team of roughly 30+ FTE''s and manage the unit on a 24-hour basis. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the personnel management, quality assurance and performance improvement, unit fiscal budget, and ongoing success of the unit. The Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with various system Leaders and will be involved in hospital-based committees.Requirements Include:Bachelor''s degree in NursingRegistered Nurse RN licenseMinimum 3-5 years of progressive nursing management experienceClinical experience in an Orthopedic or Neuro settingThis hospital is located in the Mid-Ohio valley region, an area that provides a beautiful four-season climate and a dense suburban feel.
