The hospital offers comprehensive orthopedic care - including some of the latest orthopedic surgical techniques, medical procedures, physical therapy, and occupational therapyThe Charge Nurse position is a good mix of clinical and administrative duties to include providing front line leadership and decision-making for departmental staff, ensuring the quality and integrity of care delivered. The Charge Nurse will also assist the manager in achieving and sustaining department and organizational objectives including but not limited to patient experience, length of stay, and unit/patient specific quality measures. The Charge Nurse will also participates in department specific initiatives and process improvement projects, participate in peer interviews and provide feedback for employee evaluations as requested by manager, assist with occurrence investigations among other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate for the Charge Nurse role will have their Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree and have experience working on an Orthopedic unit.
