WHAT YOU''LL DOThe IT Transformation Management Office (TMO) Lead is responsible for the success of a multi-year, 8 initiative Transformation effort to mature BCG''s IT practices into a "best-in-class" IT organization. The Transformation is responsible for realizing a suite of organization-defining benefits -- examples of high-priority initiatives include:Modernizing our "Digital Backbone" towards shared platforms & technologyTransforming engineering to a modern Agile Operating ModelManaging and scaling our Cloud-based capabilitiesBuilding a factory for 'productionizing'' software and services through DevSecOpsDeveloping and executing our renewed Sourcing & Talent StrategyDriving Operational Maturity to centralize, improve efficiency & lower riskAdvancing our Cyber Security maturity and resiliencyThe TMO is empowered to organize resources and decisions across initiatives to ensure effective coordination and prioritization of critical tasks. The TMO has significant accountability for delivery of Transformation benefits with exposure to BCG''s executive leadership.As IT TMO Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the TMO''s internal resources and priorities. You will oversee case teams and a team of internal experts to:Manage and coordinate across the 11 transformation initiatives, prioritizing and proactively escalating key issues and roadblocksHelp establish and continuously refresh IT''s Strategy and strategic roadmap to ensure BCG''s tech function is forward thinking and achieves best in class aspirationManage day-to-day Agile operations of the IT TMO, including long- and short-term sprint planning, retrospectives, and the continuous improvement of the officeEstablish clear monitoring and reporting processes for the Transformation progress and outcomes, and proactively manage risks and interdependenciesBuild and manage a high-performance team to effectively deliver the scope of the TMOCo-define and manage effective Global IT Governance structures, translating senior stakeholder input into tangible team priorities and actionsDevelop and drive organization-wide standards for IT Strategy, Outcomes, and IT MetricsYOU''RE GOOD ATWorking as a team, building consensus and influencing IT leaders, product owners, engineers and other stakeholders to effectively lead changeManaging projects in a highly dynamic Agile environment with several concurrent workstreams and competing prioritiesDriving organization-wide IT performance by defining IT Change Management, Tooling and IT MetricsCoaching, challenging and pressure testing stakeholders to establish priorities and path forwardEnsuring alignment between multiple areas of expertise such as Agile Transformation, Org Design, IT Operations, and Cyber SecurityAbsorbing and synthesizing input from different stakeholdersTranslating senior input into tangible action items"Connecting the dots" and clearly communicating how actions within specific workstreams measurably impact overall product and business outcomesDeveloping effective Global IT Governance structures in a decentralized organization to establish proactive reporting procedures and ensure Transformation Effort outcomesYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Proven project management leadership skills, ideally in a global professional services firm of our size or largerExperience in developing IT strategic goals and roadmaps, with a solid understanding of the tech industry and best in class tech functionsDeep understanding of cutting-edge IT org set-ups with specific focus on Agile Target Operating Models, ideally with proven ability to transform legacy IT operations into Agile modelExpertise in defining, conditioning and implementing key transformational IT initiatives including Cloud, Data, Sourcing, Integration, Agile and DevOps topicsExperience in influencing and presenting to senior business and IT stakeholders, challenging traditional ways of doing things and moving beyond the obviousStrong track record of leading high-performance teams toward successful attainment of challenging goalsHighly organized and proactive approach to managing work in a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communicationMaster''s degree or similar educationYOU''LL WORK WITHYou will work with BCG''s IT Leadership Team to craft initiatives for success and present to BCG''s Executive Leadership.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONEffective November 1, 2021, all new US hires must be fully vaccinated* or subject to a religious or medical exemption. *two weeks after receiving the final dose of a WHO-approved COVID19 vaccine
