General Job Description: IES Residential is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Multi-Family Foreman in the San Antonio, TX area. Must have a valid driver''s license and reliable transportation. Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversees projects in multi-family homes, apartments, and student housing etc.Maintains working relationship with subcontractors, division managers, and other skilled tradesReports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutionsMaintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and proceduresQuickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible personPlans and lays out work for sub-contractor workers in accordance with the engineers'' specifications and the National Electric CodeAssess material, equipment, and labor needed to complete assigned tasks and ensure all items required are ordered and at the job site in compliance with the scheduled requirementsCommunicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understoodt10 Specific Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesElectrical knowledge in Multi-Family areaKnowledge of the current National Electric CodeAbility to read and understand blueprintsTeam PlayerExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsQualificationsOccasional travel out of town is requiredA valid driver''s licenseMust be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirementsHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 2 years'' experience as an multi-family electrical Company Overview: IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
