Purchasing Manager - Supply Chain Management

Review product forecasts, purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts for alignment with company objectives. Provide support and guidance to other supply chain professionals. Provide regular reports containing procurement status to support production and service material needs for all product lines.Will be responsible for:Manage the purchasing of critical components for production across multiple value streamsManage material procurement activities from external and internal entity suppliers, scheduling, ordering, and expediting for material needsEstablish Continuous Improvement Goals and tracks progress to meet company product cost, material flow, product quality, and secondary supply sourcesWork closely with Material Control, Planning, Manufacturing, Facilities, and Shipping/Receiving functions to track and report status and define priorities to meet production schedulesWork with R&D and Manufacturing to identify the appropriate parts specifications and materials to ensure qualified suppliers are selected, become members of the Approved Vendor List.Qualifications:5 years of experience in a professional purchasing roleComputer proficiency is required, including skills with the use of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Applications especially ExcelStrong working knowledge of medical device components, suppliers, and price modelsSupplier contract creation and management knowledge and experience desiredStrong negotiation skillsApply for this great position as a purchasing manager today!
