Behavioral Health Staff Nurse (4) Full-Time (2) 7a to 7p and (2) 7p to 7a General Summary Program requires one psychiatric nurse per shift for each 10 patients. This number maybe adjusted according to acuity, medical treatment, medication and extensive functions require per unit. Brief Essential Job Functions Establish and maintain behavioral supervision Maintain implementation of safe individual therapeutic milieu Implement specific assigned aspect of the treatment plan Assist in the planning and supervision of leisure activities Initiating problem lists which indicate patient focus needs and is reflected in treatment plan Respond to emergency crisis situations using proper de-escalation procedures Assume Charge nurse role as needed, supervise staff, delegate duties, coordinate staffing needs and keep Manager on Call informed of significate events
