Electrical Maintenance Technician

Adecco Search is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Electrical Maintenance Technician Job in Erie, PA for our client, a respected manufacturer of quality products centrally located in Erie. Candidates should have three or more years of previous experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, including experience with Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Machinery. This is a heavy electrical position. Candidates must have hands-on experience working with PLC''s, installing electrical wiring and conduit, and other duties of electrical nature. This is a union position (USW). Our client offers a starting pay rate of $22.50-$26.00 per hour plus overtime. Pay rate is based on experience level. Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Technician Job in Erie, PA: Repairs complex electrical equipment, including automated machinery, electrical controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms. Installs electrical equipment with minimal instructions after general assignment. Troubleshoots, replaces or repairs parts, detects and replaces defective control modules. Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure function and safety of system Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLC''s Competent with programming of VFD''s. Performs complex wiring assignments and tests on equipment and makes adjustments as necessary. Installs power, light, electronic and control circuits. Troubleshoot and make repairs to heavy industrial equipment, including grinders, conveyors, furnaces, etc. Qualifications: Three to or more years of current experience in Electrical Maintenance in an industrial facility Experience with the following repairs and maintenance: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Maintenance and Repair Forklift experience or willing to obtain Forklift certification Formal training in Industrial Maintenance or Journeyman Maintenance experience, including vocational school is preferred but not required. Able to work overtime as needed.
