Tracks and reports progress and ensures accountability to the plan.Maintains Driver''s log to include on-going driver safety training.Conducts post-accident investigations and provides ongoing reporting: identifying accidents and corrective/preventative actions.Advises and instructs local management staff in required safety/environmental programs, compliance training and participates in safety committee meetings. Provides technical knowledge and creates a safety culture.Performs risk analysis to reduce accidents and financial losses. Reviews existing policies, Develops, recommends, and implements policy and procedure improvements.Responsible for ensuring all employees are committed to safety, and ensuring job specific training has occurred.Provides guidance and expertise to Lab Managers and other management personnel on safety/environmental programs, systems, and processes to ensure that all site staff are following corporate standards and are compliant with all applicable regulating bodies to include: federal, state, and local laws, rules, and standards.Conduct (JHA) job hazard analysis and identify areas or conditions for safety improvement. Develop accident prevention and loss control systems and program to incorporate into operations.Works closely with Human Resources on Workers Compensation claims and creates plans of action to minimize lost and/or restricted pile, analyze, and prepare safety management data and reports for management. Maintain SDS library on the corporate SharePoint site. Prepare weekly reports on fleet driver safety scores and/or driver findings and makes recommendations for corrective or preventative measures.Administer and manage hazardous materials and hazardous waste programs to include collection, storage and disposal as well as state specific registration/reporting as a hazardous waste generator.Conduct annual fixed asset inventory audits and ensure all asset certifications are current Implement and maintain the asset management program and software/electronic systems to ensure that activities are monitored, evaluated and updated on a regular basis.OSHA 10 and 30 Hour classesMS OfficeInterested in hearing more?
