Job Description:The Mainframe Developer/Software Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Familiar with development and testing practices.Additional responsibilities include:Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements.Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.Peer reviews code to ensure code aligns to approved design and coding best tegral scrum team member, interacting with Feature Lead, Scrum Master, and Developers.Responsible for release activities and code migration tasks.Required Skills:5+ years of experience in Mainframe, CICS, COBOL, MQ Series, CA7/11, IBM MVS/OS operating system, IDZ, IBM JCL, VSAM, EASYTRIEVE.Experience using Source Code and Version Control systems like Endevor.Ability to work in Agile development process and deep understanding of different phases of Software Development Life Cycle.Strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex problems/ideas and come-up with creative solutions.Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects in-parallel and be able to work independently in addition to contributing as part of a highly collaborative team.Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.Desired Skills:Home Equity Fulfillment Business process experienceHorizon/JIRAJob Band:H5Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Weekly Schedule:Referral Bonus Amount:0 --> Job Description:The Mainframe Developer/Software Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
