CohnReznick has an exciting career opportunity and is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our Marketing Proposal team! Your success is our success!The Proposal Specialist reports to the Director of Sales Enablement. The Proposal Specialist provides analysis, response, support, and processing of various types of proposals and bids for the applicable Sales Team. Such documents may include: Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Quotation (RFQ). These are collectively referred to as ''RFx response documents.'' The Proposal Specialist maximizes company revenue and profit through wins and sales generated by responses to RFx documents.You will be responsible for:Research the customer to understand their environment, politics, limitations, hot points and other factors that will translate to a response that wins.Provide feedback to account managers, partners, sales managers and directors regarding current and anticipated RFx.Assemble stakeholders (proposal project team) to identify roles, responsibilities and timelines.Prepare professionally written responses to RFx that specifically address customer requirements while positioning CohnReznick for success.Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of RFx responses while contributing to consistency of win themes.Document and report on project status including eventual capture information and proper close out of opportunities including proposal debriefing and transition to engagement leads, where applicable.Actively participate in department-sponsored and other training programs as applicable.Contribute to the shared resources of the department and firm through contributions to content library and/or template developmentContribute to department or company projects assigned.When required, attend industry days or pre-proposal functions.Lead post-submission exercises such as presentations, clarifications, 'best and final offers'' and protests, where applicable.You will need:Bachelor''s Degree OR equivalent relevant work experience2 year(s) writing or editorial experienceExperience responding to Professional Services RFxs and defining proposal strategy to attract technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality clients a plus!Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Office Applications and Adobe AcrobatStrong organization and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and follow-upDeadline focused and ability to work under time constraintsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsMust be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers and other coworkersPreferred QualificationsGeneral professional services, contract and customer knowledgeProject Management experienceWorking knowledge of purchasing requirementsFamiliarity with proposal assembly softwareProfessional certifications such as APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or PMI (Project Management Institute).Why CohnReznick?Endless opportunities to contribute to one of the largest professional services firm in the USNetwork of 2,700 professionals committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and giving back to the communities in which we live and workCreative culture that values collaboration in everything we doTeam of professionals motivated by a sense of excellence, integrity, commitment to lifelong learning, respect for one another, adaptability, and making a differenceVaried career paths supported by strong professional development programs and resourcesYour CR Advantage:Competitive salary and benefits 401k MatchProfit SharingDiscretionary annual bonuses and spot bonuses25 days of Paid Time Off + 13 Holidays + 3 early closing daysLearn more:with us:an organization committed to diversity and inclusion to drive our business results and create a better future every day for our diverse employees, clients, partners, and communities.
