Job Description:Responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a business unit or associate area. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. Leads projects and coordinates resources.The Investor Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation for investor reporting, default reporting, and loan modification settlement to GSE (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) entities, ensuring that all required reporting deliverables are completed accurately and timely based on their contractual guidelines.Responsibilities:• Effectively manage a dynamic team to maximize their full performance potential and achieve overall team goals. Conduct performance appraisals, promotions, salary increases, terminations, staff retention and development. Review all daily and monthly investor loan level reports and remittances to GSE entities before delivery to ensure accuracy and timeliness in accordance with the guidelines.• Review monthly default reporting to GSE entities before delivery to ensure accuracy and timeliness in accordance with the guidelines.• Manage the daily modification settlement process with the GSE in accordance to their specific guidelines• Perform monthly portfolio reconciliation as required by the GSE entities.• Research and resolve Test of Expected and/or Bank Reconciliation cash discrepancies based on internal procedures and external guidelines• Manage daily cash position, including principal, interest, and repayment of advances to ensure sufficient funds are available at all times.• Research and resolve reporting exceptions at root cause level and work with internal/external business partners for full resolution• Identify and articulate key items that are driving portfolio performance and research/answer investor''s questions related to reports.• Work collaboratively with internal/external auditors, responding to interim review and yearly audit requests.• Assist with special projects relating to process improvements and/or internal system enhancements.• Perform other duties as assigned by management "‚"‚"‚"‚"‚Required skills and experience:• 5+ years of experience in investor reporting or mortgage banking industry• Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or like fields or equivalent work experience• Proven ability to effectively manage a team• Strong understanding of the GSE guidelines• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SQL applications• Experience with MSP system platform• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentJob Band:H5Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Weekly Schedule:Referral Bonus Amount:0 --> Job Description:Responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a business unit or associate area.
