Exercises some judgment in the diagnostics, troubleshooting, and basic functional and environmental testing, of existing electrical and/or electronic equipment. Conducts functional and environmental testing of existing and new circuits according to established standards and procedures. May assist Manufacturing Engineers with prototype PC board testing and have good electrical and/ or electronic testing and troubleshooting skills. Debugs, tests and documents the test results for electrical and/or electronics equipments. May assist in recommending design or modification of analytical processes, equipment, or procedures. Complies with reliability and safety practices. Comply with Halliburton HSE and Service Quality requirements. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an Associate''s degree in a related field of science and 3 years experience working in a technician role or through 5 years of experience working in a related technician, manufacturing, and/or military equivalent role.Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
