In addition, we are also looking for an SDET that can also automate API''s to ensure our backend is working as expected. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and can take ownership of a project with little oversight.The ShiftPixy app and internal tools manage relationships with job providers to take open shift opportunities that are filling their schedules and offer them as work opportunities to qualified workers without the formal job interview and commitments. The ShiftPixy app allows shift workers to enroll, profile and prequalify based on their work and training experience for open shift opportunities. "Shifters" can earn provider specific qualifications to boost their score and access to more shift opportunities.Responsibilities Collaborate with testers and product owners to automate test cases for web or mobile applications. Collaborate with Developers to automate API''s by validating schema''s and user flows (integration tests) Participate in the creation of test plans for each sprint and updating the regression suite on a consistent basis. Perform manual testing where needed. Work with DevOps to establish, and maintain the Automation stage of a CI/CD pipeline to ensure that results are accurate. Troubleshoot failures and any inconsistencies in any automated test Ensure that tests are reporting accurate results at all times. Share insights, solutions and best practices within the teamRequirements Passion for Quality Assurance and Automation. Automation experience with API''s Automation experience with web apps or mobile apps. Proven programming skills in either Javascript, or python, or similar language. Must be self sufficient and resourcefull so you can operate autonomously on a goal oriented basis. Must Understand Object Oriented Programming. Must know what the Page Object Design pattern is, how it is used, and why it is used. 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, software engineer or similar role with focus on quality Experience with at least 1 automation framework in any language. Experience in team collaboration with developers, project managers, and product owners. Experience in the architecture and creation of automation frameworks. Experience with CICD pipeline solutionsPluses Experience working with large javascript or python code base. Experience in developing API''s or developing front end UI elements. Experience with cloud based automation platforms. Experience with TestRail.
