We are looking to add a full-time, day shift HVAC Technician to our talented Facilities team!! JOB SUMMARY:The HVAC Technician performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and systems. The technician is expected to work independently while carrying out the duties of the role and the completion of assigned work orders. The HVAC Technician will have the communication skills to convey advanced level status reports and identification of barriers to work completion to other technicians and leadership.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Consistent at all times with Grady Values and teamwork within the organization. Organizes and coordinates work inside healthcare and business occupancy with appropriate stakeholders. Communicates status and barriers to completion of assigned work orders and tasks. Perform HVAC/R maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as assigned. Prepares work areas for successful completion and housekeeping of work orders, tasks, and shop. Provides written and verbal communication in a professional manner. Understands, reads, and references blueprints and other technical documents. Requires minimal supervision. Adheres to all NFPA, OSHA, , EPA, and other regulatory requirements in the performance of assigned tasks. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is required. HVAC technical school diploma is required. Three (3) years of relevant HVAC experience in commercial industry is required Healthcare experience is preferred. SKILLS/CERTS/LICENSES: Valid Georgia Driver''s License is required. EPA CFC 608 Certification is required.
