Our client is in need of an experienced Help Desk Support Specialist to be part of the Technical Assistance Center responsible for providing support services to employees with technical problems and I.T. issues involving desktop, laptop or network services connections. An integral part of the Help Desk call rotation. Enters all Help Desk requests and resolutions into the ticket system. You will effectively applies troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to various hardware and network problems in a timely manner.Type: Contract-to-hireLocation: Sacramento, CA* CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+), Microsoft O/S, Microsoft Office Specialist, * At least 3 years of relevant Desktop/Help Desk support and customer service experience* Extensive working knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems, and software (including file server, workstation, printers, UPS devices, patch panels and networking protocols).We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
