Learn more about how we build homes built on relationships by visiting .JOB SUMMARY: The Studio Consultant''s responsibility is to ensure each customer''s ultimate design experience and expectations are met by guiding them through their selection process and beyond. The Studio Consultant will meet with customers daily, in person and virtually, to educate and assist in all design needs for their new KB Home. ***** Work Week: 5-day schedule to include 1 weekend day ***** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CUSTOMER APPOINTMENTS:Services all customers, in person and virtually, by guiding them through the Studio Process. This role reviews all choices available to the customer and assists in achieving their design goals with consideration towards both their budget and lifestyle. Shares product knowledge with customers and demonstrates product''s features and benefits to best fit their specific needs.Responsible for accurately capturing and documenting each customer''s selections to be distributed to all indirect departments.Always provides exceptional customer service to customers and team/vendors/trade partners.PLANNING AND FOLLOW-UP:Prepares for each customer appointment by reviewing file, wish lists and pulling prior appointment samples to ensure appointments run smoothly and effectively.Maintains open and effective communication with all internal and external customersRoutinely reviews and understands all products and options offered in the Studio, including five features and/or benefits about each option/product offered. Actively participates in ongoing product and process training.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school degree or equivalent requiredAssociates or bachelor''s degree preferredRetain a vocational degree or certificate preferredExperience: Previous retail experience in customer service-oriented environment required1 to 4 years of retail experience with a homebuilder or design industry preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationshipsProven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer''s perspectiveStrong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate effectively and persuasivelyStrong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other''s ideas, and a willingness to cooperateMakes quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metrics. Demonstrates strong attention to detail, with the ability to self-audit work product.Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
