Database Support Engineer - Contractor

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Database Support Engineer Lead delivery of on-going maintenance and management of pre-production, production environments, setting timelines and monitoring activities in alignment with business requirementsContribute to the development of implementation plans for dealing with more complex requests for changeReview new product support documentation and design release packages for solutionsMonitor effectiveness of installations and ensure that appropriate recommendations for change are madeSupport data platforms, databases, and infrastructure in Azure Gov following a shift schedule with availability 3-5 years of database experience including administration and troubleshootingDB Administration and trouble shooting experience in a technology area such as Azure SQL MI, Azure SQL PaaS, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and CosmosWorking knowledge of SQL Server Database configuration, support and administration tasksMicrosoft SQL Server, Windows Service Bus, IIS, .NET, Cloud Development PlatformsActive Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain oneBachelor''s degree in Computer Science preferred, any Azure certifications are a big plusMust present verification that you have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before your start date.
