The Microsoft Systems Engineer IV possesses a tremendous volume of professional experience in Microsoft platform management and a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies across multiple subject areas. They use that knowledge and experience to solve, collaborate, administer, design, improve, and automate so that they can bring greater capabilities and consistency to all our Microsoft platforms.General Functions and Outcomes Serve as a technical authority on Microsoft products with a focus on ensuring they are implemented in a secure way ensuring that Cambia''s data is secure.Collaborate beyond team and responsibility boundaries to increase the stability, sustainability, and functionality of our Microsoft footprint.Work directly with Solutions Architects, O365 Architect and Enterprise Architects to drive environment direction.Takes architecture diagrams and works with system administrators on multiple teams to engineer and implement solutions with a focus on security.Identify areas for automation and work to implement those efforts.Solve highly complex technical issues, both independently as well as with collaboration with colleagues and vendors.Build roadmaps, make informed recommendations, develop processes.Lead projects to timely, thorough, and well-documented completion.Research industry trends and future-state technologies and incorporate that knowledge to future-proof our infrastructure. Minimum Requirements Extensive experience supporting many of the following technologies (certs in any of these a plus): AzureAD, Active Directory, Office 365, Conditional Access, Intune, Azure MFA, Azure Information Protection, Power BI, Power Automate, Defender ATP, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Azure Sentinel, and Graph API.Demonstrable ability to automate tasks and detail them for others to use.Familiarity with DevOps practices and concepts.Experience with infrastructure management processes such as change management, problem management, configuration management and project management.Ability to collaborate effectively with all types of people to accomplish shared goals.Outstanding attention to precise details and diligence.Highly proficient understanding of design, implementation, and sustainment activities.Experience in understanding/translating business requirements into technical solutions.Solid ability to project/forecast time allocation for project completion.Solid understanding of security technologies and how to integrate them with Microsoft products.Experience configuring and implementing migrations to Office 365.Solid comprehension of the monitoring and logging capabilities of Microsoft products. Experience integrating a SEIM preferred.Ability to fluently create custom scripts in multiple languages and platforms including PowerShell, VBScript, and command line. Experience scripting with Graph API a plus! Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and seven years'' experience in the implementation, operations, development, support, and maintenance of IT systems and/or administration of software functions in multi-platform and multi-system environments or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional three years of experience in lieu of degree.Work Environment Duties are performed primarily in a remote work environment, though occasional travel meetings or conferences may be necessary. Occasional on-call and off-hours work happens too.
