Whether you are just starting your career or in need of a challenge, we recognize, develop, and empower talent!What you will be doing:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, we are looking for an expert, forward-thinking Senior Accountant with proven abilities and achievements. You will be responsible for various tasks related to month end close, general ledger review, account reconciliations, and other tasks as assigned in support of shared services.Prepare journal entries in support of monthly close processReconcile balance sheet accountsAnalyze variance between actuals, budget and forecastCompile and post entries related to intercompany agreementsRecord and ammortize prepaid assetsAssist in the preparation of quarterly and yearly SEC schedulesPrepare schedules and answer inquiries related to internal and external auditsComply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsEvaluate current department processes and offer input to improve or create efficienciesAssist manager on special accounting projects as neededSkills needed to be successful in this role:Proficient in Microsoft Office.Critical thinking and analysisAble to work independently and as part of a team. Tackles tasks with high level of difficulty.Strong communication and collaboration abilities and attention to detail.Ability to interact with various levels of management and balance multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting3+ years equivalent work experienceExperience with General Ledger, Trial Balance, and Managerial & Financial ReportingAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications:CPACPG Industry experienceCorporate accounting experience with a publicly traded company.Wondering if you should apply?
