The Training Specialist PositionSunnova is currently searching for a Sunnova Training Specialist, to be responsible for delivering for new hire training and ongoing training for Contact Center, Service Enablement, Sales, and Field Service staff. The Training Specialist will spend most of the time teaching new hire training, refreshers and new processes/procedures training for various functional teams.Training Specialist ResponsibilitiesDelivers training programs and content for multiple learning environments, including classroom, web, facilitator-led, self-paced, OJT (On the Job Training), and blended; uses various adult learning methods, techniques, and delivery modes to maximize learner outcomes.Administers, leads, and trains new hire classes with up to 15 participantsFacilitates effectively and objectively, ensures all participants learn and/or bring the learning event through to successful conclusion.Participates in train-the-trainer environments with our consultants to adapt our new and existing training programs.Works with new hires in the call center during nesting week of training to answer questions and provide support.Develops agendas for training sessions.Delivers engaging training courses, content, lessons, curriculum, and activities for new and changing processes, procedures, and products for a variety of roles across a variety of learning styles.Measures and improves learning outcomes of training programs; develops assessments and testing processes for use during training delivery.Is a subject matter expert on products, policies, and processes for assigned lines of business.Works with dealer development, installations, and account managers to deliver ongoing training programs, courses, and communications.Collaborates with internal stakeholders and clients in the ongoing development of training programs to consistently improve our quality and customer/dealer satisfactionFLSA Status: ExemptReports to : Manager, Trainer Minimum Requirements2+ Years of training development experiencePreferred QualificationsBABS degree in an applicable fieldMinimum of 3 years working in an energy marketSalesforce experienceAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning theory and multiple delivery methodsDeep working knowledge of ADDIE, Observe/ApplyPractice, or other instructional design methodologiesStrong Microsoft Office skills, mainly in PowerPoint and WordExceptional organizational skills, written and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure with strict time deadlinesWorking conditions:Open office environmentOccasional travel to field locationsPhysical Requirements:Extended periods of time at computer workstationLocation:In office in Houston, TxRelocation assistance is available dependent on the candidateBenefits: Sunnova offers a generous employee reward package that includes:Comprehensive benefitsCompetitive compensation & annual bonusPaid time off, including 10 holidays and Paid Parental LeaveCell phone allowance for many rolesFree access to onsite fitness center in Houston and/or discounted fitness memberships through health providerComplimentary garage parking in Houston We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
