We are an industry leader in investment sales, leasing, and debt and structured finance.Why join us?High growth trajectory Strong advancement potential $$ and great benefits Tech-savvyJob DetailsResponsibilities:Responsible for performing day to day accounting tasks for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end closing activities, with the goal of producing accurate financial statements while adhering to appropriate internal controlsParticipate in analyzing, evaluating, recommending, and implementing new accounting and financial policies, methods, procedures, and spreadsheets designed to improve information and efficiencyReview accounts payable and accounts receivables transactions for the proper account, departmental, location, and division codingBook recurring and month-end journal entries; perform month-end close reconciliations of several GL accounts for multiple entitiesCash management - analyze and accurately reconcile various bank accounts and credit cardsAssist with month-end closings as required including analysis of unusual expense fluctuationsProcess bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employeesComplete appropriate 1099 reports at year end and file accordingly with the IRSAssist Controller with sales tax, business tax and other local state tax filingsAssist with financial and tax auditsRequired: A Bachelor''s Degree in AccountingCPA license or working towards CPA licensure a plus3+ years of accounting experience (experience within the real estate industry is a plus)Interested in hearing more?
