Easy Apply now by clicking the ''Apply Now'' button and sending us your resume.Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per yearA bit about us:We are an industry leading, billion dollar manufacturer with multiple locations across the US.Why join us?Strong balance sheet, stable organization Opportunity to lead a team Process improvementsJob DetailsResponsibilities: Prepare and present monthly costing KPI''s from the manufacturing facilities including but not limited to: variances in spend, labor efficiencies, material variances, and cost of goods produced Understand and present monthly manufacturing variances in a manner which enables clear understanding, leading to driving performance improvements Review monthly spend to budget, providing analytics and insight into deviations. Utilize data mining techniques to research, model, and generate "what if" scenarios on facilities, production transfers, and component make / buy decisions. Month-end close responsibilities in the areas of labor entries and accruals, inventory reconciliations, material COS, overhead analysis, and transfer pricing. Ensure all accounting conforms with GAAP, company policy and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation Identify and drive common costing structure between domestic manufacturing facilities Assist in annual budget and quarterly forecast process Build and maintain forecasted labor and overhead rates to be used in strategic planningRequirements: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance Five or more years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a cost accounting positionInterested in hearing more?
