Whether you are just starting your career or in need of a challenge, we recognize, develop, and empower talent!What you will be doing:The Director of Trade Marketing is responsible for leading, managing and implementing channel marketing tactics and sales support programs for Drybar retail partners with the key focus on growing our in-store and dotcom business with retail partners and raising product and brand awareness that leads to customer acquisition. This role will provide leadership to a growing team to successfully support the growth of the business and specific retail partners.This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Operations, Sales, Brand/Product Marketing, Creative, Social Media and PR, to ensure the right support is in place for each retail partner and to build a strong, cohesive, seamless experience across all channel touch-points along the customer decision journey.Leads all aspects of creation and execution of innovative and effective trade marketing campaigns (online & in-store) to launch new products and grow sales of existing SKUs, with the goal of increasing return on investment and meeting/exceeding business goalsCreates and handles promotional kit programs across all channels from concept to market to support key retailer moments and business goalsWorks closely with Sales to implement specific programs to drive growthLeads and communicates campaign (digital & in-store) timelines and plans with internal and external partnersProvides recaps of campaigns with key critical metrics to measure return on investment and business growthCreates and maintains all channel marketing calendars for internal planning and communicationLeads communication with Sales Field Team on specific programs by retail partner to ensure support in-storeManages and oversees merchandising plans and timelines for retail partners to support the growth of existing SKUs and the launch of new SKUs as well as supporting overall brand awarenessWorks with Creative Team/Product Marketing to build store linear layouts (with a focus on improving return on investment by SKU) and artwork to supportCommunicates and distributes materials to all internal/external key partners ensuring alignmentWorks with external vendors to support in-store merchandising for each retail partnerManages merchandising budgetsWorks with Product/Brand Marketing and Sales on creation of biannual Market Week decksLeads all aspects of timeline and creation of decksCoordinates meeting times and key informationManages setup of all vendor/SKU creation forms from new product launches to full network setup for each channelPartners with product marketing/demand planning/sales to get forecasts for new launches from retail partnersWorks with internal partners to implement sampling/GWP programs (OPS, Demand Planning, etc.)Provides guidance to channel marketing team on projects and key tasks to support business growthSkills needed to be successful in this role:Strong Analytical skills including ability to translate reportsStrong Computer Skills: Excel, Power Point, Word and OutlookConsumer obsessed and possess strong consumer understandingDemonstrate deep understanding of the retail/beauty landscapeExperience with external agencies (i.e. Creative)Experience managing budgets; strong financial foresightProven leadership, critical thinking, independence, pro-activeness and ownership; embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details.Excellent presentation, communication and project management skillsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree8+ years of proven experience in CPG (consumer packed goods), Beauty or FashionExperience working in prestige beauty with key retailer accounts (i.e. Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Macy''s)Passionate about the beauty industry and trend savvyAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Marketing or International BusinessWondering if you should apply?
