Look no further as this could be the opportunity you have are right for! Our Client is looking to hire a Payroll & HR Specialist. The Payroll & HR Specialist will support the Accounting/HR Department with the following: Processing weekly in-house payroll for 175 union employees and prepare checks for distribution Review time sheets and wage computations to detect and reconcile pay discrepancies Process manual checks as needed; adjustment, shortages, and layoffs Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports and all other labor compliance reporting Job Costing for Payroll Time Year End Payroll Return filings and QTRLY filings W2 processing and 1095 requirements Ad Hoc assignments Skills: Certified Payroll experience required HR experience - medical benefits enrollment, employee relations, worker''s compensation claims, navigating Covid-19 climate Union Payroll Experience is preferred 3+ years related work experience; General Contracting/Construction background preferred Proficient MS Office Excel skills PCMX -Viewpoint Construction software experience Strong organizational and time management skills.
