In this role, you will be working inside a thriving and growing manufacturing facility that designs, tests, produces, and ships Door Closers, Door Controls, and Electromechanical Door Controls used in Hospitals, Schools, Churches, Sports Arenas, Hotels, and large Institutional buildings. Our facility is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with many possibilities to make a difference and add value to the business. Everyone is important to building success.NOTE: All job openings are first posted within the facility to allow current employees to bid on new opportunities and to move to different shifts. What you will be doing? Requires the continuous surveillance in maintaining both Imas and Ransohoff uptime and producing cleaned, machined housings that meet or exceed part print drawing requirements. Must be able to comprehend the conditions of the Imas machine and clear alarms such as coolant alarms, and robot/pallet alarms then restart machine without causing damage. Must maintain at least 85% operating uptime. Must be efficient and have a thorough understanding in the use of measuring instruments such as digital calipers, micrometers, air gages, as well as simple plug and thread gages. Performs a key quality requirement of periodic inspection of the machined and cleaned housings, using the appropriate CMM program, and a thorough understanding of the CMM output data. Interpreting critical part finishes on all O-ring, pinion bore, piston bore, and sealing surfaces is critical. Must be capable of reading and comprehending part drawing dimensions and specifications. The Imas and Ransohoff operator will perform and record required preventative maintenance tasks. Comply with all plant safety regulations and company policies. Maintain good housekeeping practices. Other duties as assigned and required by the Supervisor and/or Plant Manager. What we are looking for?The ideal candidate: 8 Years'' experience setting up and operating CNC Machines Must have previously worked safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production requirements. Must have a very high attention to detail to effectively fulfill customer orders for shipment. Must be an effective team player Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must be exceptionally quality conscious and committed to Customer First. Maintain good housekeeping practices.
