Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Master Data Analyst is responsible for supporting cross-functional business initiatives to develop and implement our enterprise data governance strategy. The role partners cross-functionally to establish and enforce enterprise data policies, standards, practices and processes to achieve enterprise objectives.The Business Process Support (BPS) function supports the business through partnering with all business functions to develop, implement and administer enterprise master data management capability to enable effective and efficient business operations through trusted data. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Policy / GovernanceDevelop, document, implement and ensure compliance with data strategy, policies, procedures, controls, and programs to ensure enterprise data assets are accurate, complete, secure and reliable through a developed data life cycle, from creation to end of life in coordination with data owners and data stewardsDevelop solutions and recommendations for critical processes to understand the impacts of changes within and across master data domains and impacts to downstream processes and transactions in coordination with functional, operational and technical partnersDevelop data management performance metrics that are impactful for the business in coordination with data owners and data stewardsSupport continuous improvement of data governance standards and processes based upon leading practices, evolving industry trends, expanding operational capabilities, etc.Implement tools and technologies to enhance data management process capabilities (e.g. workflow, mass maintenance, etc.), using automation where possible.Data IntegrityDevelop and implement data integrity, exception and compare reports to identify opportunities to maximize data integrityReview, analyze, and resolve errors and discrepancies from data integrity by applying problem-solving skills to fix and bring data in compliance with the policy, exception, and compare reports in coordination with data owners and data stewardsConduct routine data integrity audits and resolve discrepancies in coordination with data owners and data stewardsData Creation and MaintenancePartner with data owners and data stewards to create, maintain and monitor complete and accurate product, customer and vendor master data to support efficient business operationsUse continuous improvement techniques to improve data creation, maintenance, monitoring and cleansing processesCollaborate with key stakeholders to develop service level targets service level agreements related to data managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor''s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, supply chain or equivalent combination of education and experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:JDE experienceServiceNow experienceReportsNow experienceExperience in a Manufacturing environmentCOMPETENCIES:Experience documenting processes and policiesProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manipulate large volumes of data in Excel using complex formulas with a high accuracy rating, and strong attention to detailHigh level of professional excellence characterized by sound judgment skills, drive for results and sense of urgencyUnderstands the importance and benefits of good data quality and champion across functionsExcellent planning and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize work to ensure consistent achievement of deadlines in a fast-pace environment with a focus on exceeding expectationsExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team and build relationships with cross-functional teams to gain their cooperation and respectStrong written and verbal communication skills - effectively communicates at all levels of the organizationBrassCraft Manufacturing Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality water and gas flow control products, plumbing service and repair parts, and drain cleaning and plumbing hand tools for the new construction and repair/remodel markets.
