Senior EMC Test Engineer

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Commercial EMC and Mil/Aero and Automotive Test Engineer to join our growing team. This position requires the ability to conduct a variety of complex EMC compliance tests and the knowledge to ensure setup in accordance with customer test plans, company or regulatory standards, accurately collecting and documenting test data and outcome. Responsibilities Conducts a variety of emissions and susceptibility tests, including setup in accordance with customer specifications, collecting and documenting test process and data, and reporting test outcomesPerforms tests in accordance with company policy and industry and regulatory standardsUnderstands customer orders, follows laboratory technical procedures and test specificationsMaintains in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentationInteracts with customers during the testing process, periodically assists with troubleshooting and development, and schedule modifications Skills / Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Engineering plus 5 to 10 years of related experience and/or trainingAbility to calculate various RF equations to determine ERP, EIRP, W, V, uW, uV, uV/m, dB, dBm, dBuV, dBuV/m, dBuA in addition to other RF calculations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometryWorking knowledge of RF test equipment and familiarity with a wide variety of test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)Intimate knowledge of DO-160, MIL-416, D,E,F & GKnowledge of common commercial EMC standards like IEC 60601-1-2 and particular standards, EN 55032, EN 55035, FCC Part 15, ISED ICES003, IEC/EN 610004-X series of standardsLI-NW1To apply please email [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
