For more information, visit of Role:Fast-growing IT Project Management Office (PMO) group at GlobalFoundries seeks a personable and highly motivated Project Manager (PM) intern to support the seasoned project manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities. Our growth-oriented organization is dedicated to providing you with valuable learning opportunities as you share your ideas and creativity with the team.If you''re ready to kickstart your career in IT PMO and build real-world experience with IT project planning, scope management, resource planning, IT controls, creation/ maintenance of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) at both program as project level, Change Management process and procedures, this is the internship for you. This internship will be a remote internship.Essential Responsibilities include: Support the IT project team in maintaining project management activities using Waterfall and Agile methodologies using standard PMI project management tools and processes Assist with running daily/ weekly status meetings, troubleshooting issues and provide technical project management support to the project team Organize and maintain project tasks, milestones, and status reports for IT projects Lend project management support in areas such as Organization Change Management (OCM), Development teams, analytics, and data center managementOther Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Qualification:Required Qualifications: Education - Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major Minimum GPA of 3.0 Years of Experience - 0-6 months of Information Technology and familiar with IT project software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts Strong verbal and written communication Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Highly motivated with a desire to learn Ability to work well in teamsIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
