Business Process- (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)

Duration - 12 months The company is currently seeking a highly-motivated a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Production Quality and Operational Excellence (OpEx) and have the responsibility to build a lasting platform for continuous improvement. This role includes support of Continuous Improvement Program, as well as our new engineering and production software implementation effort. You will frequently interact with functional peer group managers and must be able to lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. The ideal candidate has experience with Lean Six Sigma methods/principles, Lean Leadership, change management, and training at all levels of a company. Responsibilities: Execute the strategic initiatives of the Operational Excellence program Lead teams in the development of advanced process maps (process re-engineering) Be able to lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team Collaborate with improvement programs across the company to grow a platform of continuous improvement Provide continuous improvement training to managers and employees Mentor and coach employees on continuous improvement and project management techniques to accomplish short-term and long-term results Train & develop Lean Six Sigma Green Belts Teach Lean Leadership to managers and facilitate their improvements projects (Visual Management, Gemba, Huddles, etc.) Consult and provide support to managers on strategic objectives, initiatives, and corresponding KPIs Create measurement tools to track performance and sustain improvements Analyze and validate data based on quantitative and statistical techniques Lead complex cost, quality, and schedule improvement projects, from ideation to closure, utilizing DMAIC or DFSS
