Senior Network Engineer - Seattle WA Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent JNCIP, JNCIE / CCIE or equivalent Lab Configuration, testing /deployment support in LAN/WAN/Mobile Backhaul Juniper MX, Cisco ASR/CRS/GSR platform with detailed knowledge of implementing IP routing for both IPv4 and IPv6 Understanding / experience working in a Service Provider network or similar environment Understanding of NAT technologies and types Candidates need to be able to talk to whatever skills they have listed on their resume Key Responsibilities: Hold technology workshops with the customer to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions available. Provide informal training support to customer''s network operation team that operate / implement Juniper Networks products. Assist the customer to develop Network Operating and Equipment Operating Procedures. Review configuration compliance versus standards and advise customer on required changes to comply with agreed standards. Work in conjunction with larger Juniper Resident Engineering team to provide support to customer. Understand the customer''s organizational structure and become familiar with the customer''s network implementation and support processes and procedures. Carry out testing of new features and functionality required by the customer in a laboratory environment and to implement and verify that they are operating correctly in the live network. Support customer with implementation and testing of new features/functionality as part of customer''s lab certification and First Office Application process. Support application of new software upgrades and fixes to operating software to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the live network. Acting as a technical liaison with Juniper Networks Customer Service and Engineering groups. Test patches and fixes to operating software and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the live network. Train the customer''s design, implementation and support personnel to configure and operate the Juniper Networks products.
