Loss Mitigation Coordinator I

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in San Diego, CA that is seeking a Loss Mitigation Coordinator I.Responsibilities: In this role, the Loss Mitigation Coordinator I will review applicant pipeline for repayment plan options, collect supporting income and expense documentation, conduct income/expense analysis using financial web tools, and draft, ship, and track receipt of signed plans and any required contribution funds Collect necessary documents to determine eligibility for repayment plans, including frequent right party contact and follow- through The Loss Mitigation Coordinator I will draft the repayment agreement and follow-up for any required contribution funds and signatures Place appropriate holds on accounts to ensure no further collection or foreclosure activity takes place until either the payment plan completes in entirety, or the borrower defaults on the agreement Send applicable decline letters if the borrower does not qualify for repayment plan options
