With over 80+ locations, the Joseph Company is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nucor Corporation (NUE) a Fortune 200 Company.Develops an overall working knowledge of departmental, commercial, transaction accounting practices and operating systems.Provides invoicing, cash collection and cash application for our export consumers.Contract management including shipment performance as well as consumer/inventory positions.Submission to obtain the Chinese inspection certificate for material shipping to China.Shipment coordination between physical moves and accurate/timely system recording. System recording includes shipment notice, weight and freight bill entry.Transaction analysis and problem resolution, including customer phone contact as well as interaction with DJJ commercial and administrative personnel. Bachelor''s degree preferred but equivalent experience considered.Two years logistics/customer service/accounting experience. Position demands an energetic, well-organized individual who is adaptable to changing assignments and priorities, works well under pressure and prefers a fast pace.Exhibits initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.PC skills in word processing, spreadsheets and database (Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and Outlook preferred).Proven effective customer service skills.
