The Customer Operations Analyst plays a key role within our Stanwell Energy Trading Division and will be primarily dealing with billing and settlements.About Us We are an energy business with a large portfolio of electricity generation facilities in Queensland. About the Position The Customer Operations Analyst plays a key role within our Stanwell Energy Trading Division and will be primarily dealing with billing and settlements. The role also involves working closely with the retail sales team to ensure Stanwell Energy''s structured product contractual obligations are appropriately managed. The role is a stimulating mix of managing an external billing provider, dealing directly with customers on back office issues, management of structured products and contractual obligations, tariff and site issues, data management and reporting as well as undertaking ad hoc project work related to operations activities. Other responsibilities will include: Engage with customers in a timely and professional manner on billing, metering, tariff and site issues Management of structured product contractual obligations Conduct monthly billing collation and distribution activities through to conclusion including managing the external billing provider Execute debt management processes Validate customer queries Undertake ad hoc project work to improve Stanwell Energy''s service offering to customers or the broader Stanwell team Ensure that any agreed special billing requirements for customers are met Investigate network and metering charge reconciliation problems and manage through to conclusion Leading continuous improvement activities such as improving processes and specifying system upgrades. This is a full-time permanent position located in our Brisbane CBD Office. About You The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. Other skills will include: Experience in a retail electricity market environment including knowledge of retail systems and processes in the back office area - preferable Detailed understanding of the National Electricity Market, MSATS and retail operations High level of attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with diverse stakeholder groups Strong numerical, verbal and written communication skills How to Apply To submit your application, please apply online with your CV and cover letter.
