Internal Auditor - Staff and Senior for Environmentally Friendly Firm About the Firm: Creative Financial Staffing is working with a leading manufacturing firm that focuses on sustainable packaging for agricultural, chemical, food processing, construction, waste management, and other industries The firm has a global as well as U.S. presence with locations in California, Ohio, Massachusetts, Washington, Kansas and more They have been doing exceptionally well with solid Private Equity backing and have been acquiring similar companies to expand their growth in this industry This role will be working with the VP of Internal Audit and will be working on a close-knit team Firm offers a competitive salary with bonus and great benefits and they believe in promoting from within About the Position: The Internal Auditor will work together with the teams on: Examining, evaluating and reporting on the adequacy of internal controls Reviewing and evaluating financial, operational, technology and governance processes and systems to ensure integrity and compliance Investigations, special audits, transaction due diligence, sustainability reporting and provide subject-matter expertise as needed Identifying and sharing audit lessons learned, providing training, and suggesting continuous improvements Adeptly leveraging data analytics Qualifications of the Internal Auditor: Bachelors Degree; additional licenses such as CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA a plus 3+ years of experience working in external/internal audit, accounting or finance (cost accounting, inventory control, FP&A, etc.), enterprise risk management or other relevant experience SOX control design and operating effectiveness Be tech savvy and have the ability to provide assistance in the implementation of a global ERP Data analytics e.g. Galvanize/ACL, IDEA, visualization tools such as Tableau Proactive team player who excels at time management and prioritizing deadlines Flexibility to travel nationally up to 40%
