Accounting Manager

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing the corporate month end close and managing a team. Excellent leadership Newly created role- make this position your own High level exposure to leadership Top notch benefits RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER: Supervisor, train and mentor a staff of 5 and manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, Expense Reports, Credit Cards, etc. Manage the monthly close process in accordance with US GAAP Responsible for month end and year end close including journal entries, prepaid, accruals, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and accounting consolidation Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled on a recurring basis as required Prepare monthly Financial Statements Act as one of the lead contacts with the external auditors Provide or review information to support SEC reporting and press release preparation. Document accounting policies, procedures and internal controls, ensuring SOX compliance. Provide information and assistance to the Internal Audit function. Adhoc projects QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER 7 years'' experience CPA preferred Manufacturing Public accounting experience a plus
