Job Description

The Vice President of Investor Relations (VP of IR) is a critical leadership role which manages the strategic planning, ongoing development, and coordination of all investor relations activities to enhance Naked Wines'' impact among our stakeholders, including the investment and analyst communities. This person is responsible for broadening and increasing shareholder value through effective communication and engagement, and acts as a corporate spokesperson representing the organization. The VP of IR reports to the CFO and has significant interaction with the Executive team and Board of Directors, and must demonstrate clear ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all aspects of Investor Relations, including forming and executing the Naked Wines'' IR program, helping shape and effectively communicate the Naked Wines'' strategic direction, and establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key analysts and the investment communityOversee and manage the strategic focus and content development for Naked Wines'' stakeholders, including investor presentations, management scripts and Q&A for quarterly earnings calls, materials for Board of Directors, and other disclosure-related documentsPlan and ensure execution of key investor events and communications, including road shows, periodic investor days, as well as drafting of press releases, quarterly earnings releases and other key communications and announcements; prepare research, scripts and supporting information/Q&A, and conference call materialsAdvises executive management about financial and industry trends, shareholder and analyst concerns, and competitor results and dynamicsMonitors changes in SEC regulations or other legal precedents to ensure a "best practices'' approach to investor communicationsReviews and maintains peer analysis by tracking and reporting competitive intelligence to relevant departments by listening to earnings calls, speaking with analysts, attending conferences, following news flowProvides feedback to management on investor perception of the Naked Wines'' long-term opportunities and execution, as well as disclosures made by other companies in the industryNetworks and engages with other leaders within the company to assist in the development of collateral for executing the IR communication strategyPartners with CEO and CFO in developing the strategy for investor relationsProfessional Qualifications10+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Finance, and Equity Research.Demonstrated persuasive communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain business relations. Requires a strong understanding of financial reports and understands the investment process on the sell side and buy side. Strong financial analysis skills and solid market and financial knowledge of the businessExceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with company executives, investors, analysts, and the mediaStrategic, external perspective - with a proven ability to drive excellenceActively drives strong teamwork and collaboration with an enterprise-wide perspectiveAbility to balance proactive/planning with reactive elements of the positionPersonal Characteristics Possess strategic agility: the ability to initiate and drive change and have the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment as well easily toggle between issues of strategy and vision and those of the most tactical and granular natureHighly Intellectual - ability to think deeply and qualitatively about business problems, breaking down issues and presenting solutionsStrong communication skills.
