Mechanic

We are looking for a Field Mechanic Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various equipment.Job Scope: Receives customer service requests, assesses customer needs, symptoms of customer equipment; diagnoses and suggests repair solutions to his or her manager or supervisor based on customer needs and resource availability; this includes, but is not limited to shop or field service repairsResponsibilities:Repair mechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinerySpecialize in vehicle transmission systems a major plusPerform routine preventative maintenanceUse diagnostic tools to test equipment componentsPerform quality inspections prior to leaving job siteProviding diagnostic assistance and repair instructionsResearching and looking up parts, sending off spare partsCoordinates service requests with appropriate service departmentsAssists in maintaining technical manualsReceived customer service requests, interviews customers to asses needs, and develops options for solutions based on customer needs and resource availability.Qualifications:3-4 yrs of previous experience as a mechanic/service mechanicKnowledge of shop equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-orientedAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma requiredAssociate''s Degree in a mechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery related field or equivalent diploma from a post secondary educational institution highly desired.Proficient in mechanical, electric and hydraulic troubleshooting and puter literate: Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Able to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, flow charts, maintenance schedules etc.Benefits Offered:Health InsuranceHealth Savings AccountDental Insurance401(k) with matching contributionPTO and paid holidays About us:Express works with job seekers to help find the right job for their skills and experience.
