Responsibilities Summary of Position Requirements:This HR Generalist will be directly supporting employees and management across the entire country for COVID safety protocols and leave of absence. This candidate will provide top level customer care and empathy, and utilize problem solving skills when dealing with company employees. The HR Generalist will work independently in a dynamic environment and possess a thorough knowledge of employment law, including EEOC regulations, FMLA, and ADA. The HR Generalist will initially focus on the company''s COVID safety protocols and leave of absence processing throughout the organization and will assume a variety of responsibilities and manage the day-to-day of these HR processes. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Manages company safety protocols for Covid-19 including monitoring test results, clearing Associates to return to work after illness, completing contact tracing, tracking quarantine requirements, and monitoring daily wellness check responses.Oversees company compliance with current OSHA emergency temporary standards including, but not limited to, current executive order requiring vaccination or weekly COVID-19 testing.Establishes FMLA and other LOA claims, tracks, and documents in accordance with internal workflow processes.Ensures accurate and timely processing of all FMLA leaves and/or disability paperwork as established by federal/state municates decisions and ongoing expectations with Associates on leave both verbally and in writing, to update them on the status on their leave requests and communicate any additional requirements.Handles general associate and manager questions pertaining to company policies, COVID procedures, and LOA programs.Partners with HR Manager on reasonable accommodations process.Supports multiple offsite Divisions throughout several states.Assists in tracking legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions such as OSHA, EEO, LOA, FMLA, ADA, and FSLA.Acts as liaison between Associates, benefits, payroll, management, legal departments, and external vendors.Maintains associate files.Less than 5% required travel to on-site department meetings.General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:The median base compensation for this position is estimated to be $60,000 [annualized], subject to adjustment based on business-related factors including employee qualifications and operational considerations.This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company''s sole discretion.This position will be eligible for company benefits in accordance with Company policy. Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor''s degree required, Human Resources or Business-related discipline preferred. 2-4 years of experience in HR, with at least one year of experience in LOA process.Knowledge of state and federal employment laws including LOA, FMLA, and HIPAA.Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to respond to associate requests/questions in a professional and timely manner.Must maintain confidentiality of all associate issues (i.e. compensation, medical documentation, disability status, etc.).Demonstrate urgency with a calm and positive attitude.Detail-oriented team player with strong work ethic.Ability to multi-task and handle fast-paced work environment.Valid driver''s license and a good driving termediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.Physical Requirements:This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.
