Part Time & Full Time Employment Career growth potential Discounts at all Selland Family Restaurants Medical, Dental, Vision (Full Time Employment) Paid Time Off (Full Time Employment) Paid Holidays (Full Time Employment) POSITION SUMMARY: Pastry Cook/Baker must be able to bake and decorate products as listed on the bakery inventory list, make sure all products are prepped and cooked properly, taste product, mix product correctly and accurately, be sure all products are properly stored at the end of each day, fill out bakery inventory sheet daily, maintain product par, load vans with your product, clean. Has the knowledge of and maintains sanitary food handling practices. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Mix product correctly and accurately to ensure a quality product that is consistent. Bake and decorate product correctly and accurately to minimize waste. Taste product to be sure it is correct. Store all product appropriately, label, date and initial. Fill out inventory sheet daily and initial. Inform manager when product is low and needs to be made. Maintain product par on your station at all times. Load vans efficiently as soon as vans arrive. Keep your area clean at all times. Keep any area you have been working at clean at all times. Reports to work on time and as assigned per the schedule on a regular, consistent basis. Any other duties as assigned by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS: Available to work mornings (5am -2 pm) Able to communicate verbally in an articulate manner. Has integrity and honesty. Results focused. Demonstrates active listening and is receptive to ideas. Processes and analyzes information effectively. Can organize, plan, and prioritize. Follows recipes and directions!! Must have food handlers card. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have reliable transportation to work. Must be able to obtain proper uniform, including black non-slip shoes Must have proof to legally work in the United States Must be able to handle and move 50 lbs.
