Job Summary: Responsible for managing the Loss Prevention/Safety Review Programs and assists in the development of shrinkage control, financial loss and margin erosion programs with a focus on causes related to fraud, waste and abuse under the general direction of Corporate LP/S Manager. Will conduct extensive analysis of business results and assist in development, implementation and maintenance of Code S Business Intelligence programs. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides staff assistance to NEXCOM enterprise corporate and field management for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating loss prevention programs to include: retail/services shrinkage control, financial systems loss, margin erosion due to fraud, waste or abuse, safety, physical security, review and audit functions. Recommends and implements modifications to programs, procedures, standards and techniques on all matters involving loss prevention, asset protection and safety to improve efficiencies and effectiveness. - Possess a thorough understanding and effective use of data analysis tools and systems, to effectively detect, investigate, and resolve business challenges. Utilizes Aspect, APIS, Audit Command Language (ACL), Microsoft Access, Central Office, SQL Developer, Discoverer, RMS,SIM, Lawson and other systems. - Manages shortage control analysis by ensuring a thorough understanding of the scope of work; benchmarking with other shortage control peers and analysts; establishing data correlation; analyzing, planning, and structuring data findings; and reporting results and deliverables to NEXCOM enterprise stakeholders to support the NEXCOM Code S mission under general supervision by Corporate LP/S Manger. - Analyze and present solutions to NEXCOM Enterprise stakeholders for shrinkage control, financial loss and margin erosion by ensuring a thorough knowledge and understanding of processes and scope of work. Occurs through benchmarking with other shortage control programs and peers; data correlations, analysis, structured data findings to present reporting results supporting the Code S mission objectives. - Manages the Loss Prevention/Safety Review and Audit programs for Code S in conjunction with Code N. Will develop reporting to track results, additional reviews, and audits as deemed necessary by Corporate LP/S Manager. Will develop training programs and train users for Audit modules within the APIS systems. - Manages the Code S Reviews, Audit and Inventory Shrink content on HUB and updates as needed. Will assist in SharePoint site development and maintenance for Code S as needed. - Assists the Corporate LP/S Manager in updating and maintaining the LP/S manual, and develop and publishes Standard Operating Procedures for programs as assigned. Assists in updating and maintaining assigned NEXCOM Instructions. - Member of the Executive Shrink Committee and Corporate Inventory Management team. Chairs ESC in absence of chairperson. Will manage target action plans and follow up with affected locations as assigned. - Manages the ZP998 Check Request Report on a monthly basis, reviews for anomalies for investigative consideration and distributes quarterly to Code F. - Manages the ZP275 Accruals Report monthly and distributes to Code F quarterly. - Assists, when necessary, with the review of the IM200 (accounting accrual report) for misdated items and double booking of receipts. (Scrubbing) - Prepares historical and current inventory results to identify top shrink stores and departments. Conduct analysis of top shrink stores and research issues and causes. Develop and make recommendations for corrective actions and financial adjustments. - Analyzes top shrink stores and departments, researches problems and make recommendations for corrective action and financial adjustments. - Develops and ensures strong relationships, partnerships, and communication skills at all levels of the organization to include Corporate, District, Store Operations, as well as other Loss Prevention/Safety Industry professionals. - Assists with budget and financial spreadsheets and analysis. - Assists with Code S program analysis and production of reports as needed. - Assists in developing specific reports for Field and Corporate LP/S managers as requested with focus on Shortage Control, including Aspect reporting. - Will develop, create and execute training documents, tools and plans as assigned, which may include Shortage/Shrink Monthly Awareness Topics, Quick Alerts, Policies and Systems. - Provides support for investigations as needed with a focus on financial systems and inventory shrinkage. - Assists Corporate LP/S Manager in development of Business Intelligence reporting and analysis for Code S and other NEXCOM enterprise stakeholders. Will utilize all available tools and actively seek opportunities to improve and create efficiencies utilizing data available within the NEXCOM Enterprise. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
